Fisher trained with the Wildcats in September and has kept in regular contact with the coaching staff since then.
The 20-year-old is in his third year with the Miners and is excited to take on a bigger role in 2014 after missing several games last season due to national team commitments.
“Training with Perth puts me in the best shape heading into the Miners pre-season – I’ve been shooting regularly and going to the gym nearly every day but it’s the best way to prepare to be on-court,” Fisher said.
“I’m feeling good about this season now that I’ve had a few years behind me – I had a lot of international commitments last year so I’m looking forward to being able to play a full season.
Fisher will return to Ballarat for the Miners’ pre-season in late January.
