Pete Murray, The Smith Street Band, Boy and Bear, Bliss N Eso and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have all scheduled pit stops in Ballarat as part of their national tours.
The performers will take to the stage at venues including the Regent Cinema, Karova Lounge and even Ballarat Showground.
Bliss N Eso’s MC Eso said his trio was staging outdoor concerts as part of its tour, carting truckloads of state-of-the-art production and staging equipment across Australia.
“You can’t box us in, so why should the live show be boxed in,” he said.
“We did a concert in Brisbane at this beautiful outdoor setting near the river and it just had this majestic feeling about it.
“With the tour being Circus Under the Stars, it’s only right that we paint the right picture.”
The good entertainment news also applies to families with young children, with Play School, The Wiggles and Peppa Pig also bringing their live concerts to the city within the next few months.
