Ballarat Breakfast Report: February  15

Don't be fooled by the sunshine this morning.

Today we can expect rain by midday and even a few showers throughout the day. So if you are heading to the football later today be sure to pack a jacket with temperatures expected to drop below 20 degrees.

Tomorrow, we can expect a top of 23 degrees with some possible showers.

Nothing of interest to report from overnight.

However police were out looking for a missing person throughout the evening.

Beverly Regatz went missing around 2.30pm yesterday afternoon from her Sebastopol home. However, in good news she was located safe and well, returning home shortly before 7.30 am this morning.

Fire crew had a quiet night with nothing of interest to report.

However, crews are preparing to leave the city and help out elsewhere across the state. Firefighters are expected to head to Morwell and east Gippsland to help other crews deal with the fires from last week.

A quiet night for ambulance services with no major incidents.

No issues for commuters so far with all services on the Ballarat line running on time so far.

Today we will be stopping by the Ballarat Beat Rockabilly Festival  with Lydiard Street being closed off for the event. We will also be heading to the North Melbourne versus Carlton game tonight so stay tuned for pictures on the website.
