Royal Commission chairman Justice Peter McClellan will address the forum, which follows informal meetings with community groups and service providers in Ballarat two weeks ago.
Royal Commission chief executive officer Janette Dines said the forum would provide a way for interested people to engage with the commission.
"We strongly encourage those who have an interest in the Royal Commission to attend and to take the opportunity to learn more about our work," Ms Dines said.
Private sessions will also be held in Ballarat next week.
The forum will be held from 6pm to 8pm at the Eureka Ballroom, 613 Main Road.
It will be closed to the media for privacy reasons and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
