Ballarat Police Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU) have charged three females as a result of an aggravated burglary, domestic dispute early this morning.
Acting Sergeant Simon Pearce said the incident occurred at Cypress Avenue in Wendouree at 2.40am.
Three females aged 35, 36 and under the age of 18 from Wendouree are expected to appear in the Ballarat Magistrates Court at a later date.
WEATHER
It looks as if it's going to be a wet Saturday Ballarat. A few showers have been forecast throughout the day, with a chance of a thunderstorm late morning. The city is expected to reach 26 degrees. For anyone heading to the coast today there are severe wind warnings in place for West Coast, Central Coast and East Gippsland Coast regions.
FIRE
One crew from Ballarat City Fire station was called to a car accident on the corner of Learmonth Road and Cuthberts Road in Alfredton at 9.23pm last night.
AMBULANCE
A cyclist has been taken to Ballarat Base Hospital after a collision with a kangaroo this morning. Paramedics were called to the scene at White Swan Road in Invermay at 6.08am. A man in his 50s suffered hip cuts and abrasions after his bike collided with a kangaroo that was standing in the middle of the road.
Paramedics were also called to the corner of Learmonth Road and Cuthberts Road last night after a car crashed into a power pole. There were three people in the car but no injuries.
TRAINS
It's all smooth sailing on the V/Line network this morning. Ballarat has good service as do all other regional lines.
