Filming will be done until Saturday, when a Tour of Duty community event will be held at the Australian Ex-Prisoners of War Memorial, where residents can bring along war memorabilia for expert historians to examine.
Loreto College will bring a time capsule, and members from the Ballarat Ranger Military Museum, Mining Mud & Medals Project and Sovereign Hill Museum will bring displays.
The Ballarat Tram Museum, situated just off the main site, will be open where guests can listen to expert historian speakers from UNSW Canberra’s Australian Defence Force Academy.
