STANTON TRAINS BALLARAT DOUBLE
THE Clunes kennel of Chris Stanton landed a winning double at Ballarat greyhound races on Monday.
Southwood King ($12) took out Lil Dickie Grade 5, 450m, and Southwood Lexie ($2.40) scored in the Lions Quality Products Grade 5, 390m.
Stanton led a successful day at Morshead Park for Ballarat district trainers.
Natoya’s Dream ($28.80) won for Ballarat East’s Stan Berriman in the Mega Meats Maiden, 390m; Bound For Vegas ($9.20) for Roger Raven, of Smythes Creek, in the Mega Merch Grade 5, 450m; and Eumeralla Mist ($2.40) for Ivan Chircop from Smythesdale in the 3BA Grade 5, 390m.
