In a frank interview, and near-nude photo spread, in Britain's GQ magazine, the 30-year-old Australian model talks about sex, love and the possibility of experimenting with women.
"Never say never," she tells the magazine, hinting at her potentially ambiguous sexuality.
Kerr, who enjoys sketching women – "especially their backs" – says she "loves the female body and truly appreciates the female form".
Despite this revelation, the former Victoria's Secret model is quick to say she "definitely needs a man in the bedroom".
"Just a nice strong chest to lie on ... Still, I want to explore. Never say never."
Kerr is also no stranger to the "Mile High Club," claiming she has been known to create her own in-flight entertainment.
‘‘Let’s put it this way, I’ve had an orgasm in the air before," Kerr says. "Alone. And together.’’
The model also opens up about her relationship with Lord of the Rings actor Orlando Bloom, 37, who she split from in October.
She and Bloom had "great chemistry" in the bedroom, Kerr tells GQ, but says she made her ex wait "six months until I even kissed him".
In December, Kerr was rumoured to have embarked on a new relationship with 46-year-old business mogul James Packer.
Since this revelation in Woman's Day last year, the couple have neither confirmed or denied the relationship, which has appeared to stall as Kerr admits to the magazine she is "dating and loving it".
"This is my time to explore and have some fun. I'm not looking to fall in love again quickly."
The model, who says she "still gets chatted up a lot", admits to having had some "crazy, ridiculous proposals – stuff that you wouldn't even see in the movies".
"No blind dates, however, and I never Google a man's name before I meet him.”
Since the split from Bloom, Kerr admits she has not had much sex, because "one night stands aren't my thing".
"And I've noticed now that I'm having less sex, my body isn't as toned," she says.
"The more sex I have, the more defined my arms and stomach get."
