POLICE
A CRESWICK man is in a stable condition after crashing his car into a tree at Wattle Flat last night.
The driver, 26, and passenger, 24, from Sebastopol were travelling along Bungaree-Creswick Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Police said it appeared the driver came too wide on a shoulder, overcorrected and lost control, resulting in the collision with the tree.
The passenger managed to escape, but the driver was trapped for about 90 minutes.
Police partially blocked Bungaree-Creswick Road at 7pm.
FIRE
It was a busy night for fire crews with multiple call outs.
The first call-out was to a Sebastopol where crews were called to help a man who had been locked in his toilet and unable to get out.
Fire crews also attended a false alarm and to clean up oil on the road in Curtis Street .
