Griffin injured his knee early in the Dockers round 7 win over Collingwood last season. Today, he makes his return to field in the Thunder's clash against Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval.

The Thunder has made a few changes, with Dockers Tanner Smith, Max Duffy, Garrick Ibbotson, Clancee Pearce, Zac Clarke, Hayden Crozier and Alex Silvagni out. Griffin, Tom Vandeleur and Griffin are among several inclusions.

Ibbotson and Crozier played in the Dockers 58-point loss to Hawthorn at the MCG on Friday night - Ibbotson suffering a shoulder injury.

East Perth showed how dominant a full complement of AFL-listed players can be when it beat South Fremantle by 75 points on Friday night.

The Royals had 12 West Coast players in the line-up, with Mark Hutchings, Blaye Wilson, Ash Smith, Pat McGinnity, Adam Carter, Sam Butler and Dom Sheed all getting over 20 touches as East Perth amassed 430 disposals. Hutchings, Scott Lycett, Smith, Fraser McInnes, Butler, Josh Hill and Sheed also kicked goals, while former North Melbourne player Josh Smith booted four.

Subiaco needs to get over Claremont today at East Fremantle Oval to continue its unbeaten start to the season. The Lions have added experienced pair Clancy Wheeler, Rhett Kerr and to their line-up, while Tom Smith, from North Ballarat makes his debut after just one game in the twos.

West Perth has made several changes in a bid to break its winless start to the season. The reigning premier has lost Matt Guadagnin, but Dan Hunt and former Swan Districts player Matt Spencer are among the inclusions.

Perth has had the perfect start to the season, but has only won six games from 24 at Arena Joondalup. Clem Smith has been left out of the side to make way for Haydn Busher.
