WEATHER

Today we can expect a top of 23 degrees with a 70 per cent chance of rain. 

While the rain will be minimal today, expect more as the week goes on with predictions of up to 20 millimetres for the next two days. 

POLICE

Police were at the scene of a fatal crash near Westmere last night.  

The male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene. 

It’s believed a car was travelling east on the Glenelg Highway two kilometres east of Westmere when the driver lost control and veered off the road, rolling the vehicle around 7pm. 

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner. 

FIRE

A quiet night for fire crews with nothing of interest to report.

AMBULANCE

Nothing to report from paramedics overnight. 

TRAINS

Things are looking good so far for the Ballarat train line with no delays to report.
