JOHANNESBURG: NSW Waratahs coach Michael Cheika has confirmed he had been contacted by SANZAR and notified of the complaint against him by South African broadcaster Super Sport.

The broadcaster has alleged Cheika threatened a camera operator who was filming him on the sideline during the Sharks' 32-10 victory in Durban.
Fairfax Media understands SANZAR has footage of the exchange but no audio, meaning the camera operator's version of events could be hard to prove.
