The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) revealed Creswick’s median house price had risen to $288,500 in the last quarter, up 8.9 per cent.
REIV found Ballarat’s median house price had increased to $299,000 (+1.4 per cent) in the January to March quarter this year.
Ballarat Real Estate general manager Allister Morrison said he noticed similar characteristics in Buninyong and Creswick.
The median unit and apartment price in regional Victoria grew by 8.2 per cent to $262,500 in the last quarter.
