A man caught driving at 190km/h on a Victorian road has been arrested and will have his car impounded for 30 days.

The Melbourne man was clocked travelling 90km/h over the 100km/h limit on the Princes Highway in Newmerella, about 360 kilometres east of Melbourne, on Thursday.
Police arrested the 53-year-old and he is expected to be charged on summons with conduct endangering life, speeding, and road-related charges.
His white Holden GTS will be impounded for 30 days under anti-hoon laws.
Orbost Highway Patrol Sergeant Matt Jenkins said it was disappointing that people thought it was acceptable to speed on the state’s roads and warned that those doing so would be caught.
Victoria’s road toll stands at 82 this year, compared to 77 for the same time last year.
