Jo Powell launched 3 Peas Property Styling just over a month ago to provide a pre-sale presentation service to properties in Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong and Melbourne.

“Sometimes doing a property, it’s the smallest things that count,” she said. 

“People look at buying a house and it’s a process of elimination.

“So you might not even get past the photo in the newspaper stage. 

“You are kind of selling a dream, really.”

Ms Powell said while the service was booming in Melbourne, she was only aware of one other person in Ballarat preparing houses for sale.

Aside from gazing over hot property, Ms Powell tends to her family, her chickens and a dog.

“I cook a lot. I have a small vegie garden and I spend a lot of time looking at property. I love it,” she said.

“It’s so different. No two are the same.

“My accounting skills led to doing property development and from that I’ve seen property styled and prepared for sale.”
