McClounan will return to the Vikings' starting XI today for the Sebastopol-based side from Epsom Soccer Club in Bendigo, in what is a key signing for the club.
The former Ballarat Red Devil will slot straight into the midfield, which coach Michael Busija said was a great for the club.
McClounan played for the Vikings last year before moving to Bendigo for work, however he is now back in Ballarat.
"He left on good terms so we're rapt to have him back," Busija said.
Sebastopol comes up against second-placed side Strathmore on Saturday, in what will be arguably the biggest test for the season to date.
The Vikings won their first match of the year last week with a 4-0 thumping of Laverton Park and Busija said it was the start of everything finally coming together.
"The pressure is off a bit now but we still have to keep on building each and every week," he said.
Kyran Taylor will again miss with a hamstring complaint, while Alex Antonelli could also miss with a sore hamstring.
