Many residents will have woke up to the sound of rain this morning and it looks like it will continue throughout the day.
We can expect a top of 16 degrees with some lighter showers as the day goes on.
The weekend looks like producing similar weather with a strong chance of rain occurring every day until early next week.
POLICE
The court heard the woman produced a Stanley knife from her bra and made a cut under the left eye of one member of a group after an argument broke out.
Magistrate Ian von Einem described the crimes as "very serious."

Ballarat fire crews had three call outs over night, however, all were quite minor.
Firefighters had one call out to a false alarm and another to inpsect a burn-off early this morning.
Crews were also called to Smythesdale to reports of fire in a Rotunda, however, were called off on the journey to the town.

Nothing of interest to report from local paramedics.
TRAINS
No delays have been listed for the Ballarat line so far this morning.
However, V/Line are warning residents coming from Ararat over the weekend to be aware of some changes.
