A NASTY injury to Redan key forward Leigh Ryall caused the match between Redan and East Point to be called off on Saturday.

With about five minutes remaining in the final quarter, Ryall was knocked unconscious when his head hit the City Oval turf in a tackle.
With an ambulance required, as the Redan trainers did not want to move Ryall, Lions coach Eammon Gill and East Point coach Glenn Wilkins agreed to call the match off early.
Gill said Ryall was in a reasonable condition before being taken to hospital, able to speak to his wife and club trainers.
The final score finished Redan 19.13 (127) d 5.9 (39).
ELSEWHERE, Shaun Lyle kicked 10 goals in North Ballarat City's demolition of Darley.
The reigning premiers smashed the Devils by a whopping 113 points, winning 24.20 (164) to 7.9 (51).
Lyle booted three goals in the first, second and fourth quarters, adding two in the third quarter to finish with 10.4
Darley now has just one win and a draw from six games so far this season, wallowing in ninth spot on the ladder, while North City remain undefeated on top of the ladder.
IN THE match between Lake Wendouree and Ballarat, it was the Swans who triumphed with a seven-goal last quarter.
In what was a tight tussle for most of the day, it was Ballarat that finally found some last quarter form to run out 19.18 (132) to 14.10 (94) winners.
Will McGregor kicked four goals for Ballarat and Lachlan Cassidy was named best on ground, while Angus Kirby was the most prolific for Lake Wendouree.
DOWN the highway, there were two games decided by less than a goal.
Sunbury hung on by five points to beat Melton 14.11 (95) to 14.6 (90).
Remarkably, it was the third game in a row for the Bloods that have been decided by less than a goal, having beaten Melton South by five points and drawn with Darley.
And in the final match for the day, Melton South registered its first win of the year, hanging on by the smallest of margins to beat Bacchus Marsh by just one point.
The Panthers kicked four of the last five goals of the match to storm home against the Cobras, finally getting a win after going so close in a number of games this year.
On the flipside, Bacchus Marsh must now endure the pain of having lost by one point in consecutive weeks.
The Cobras sit in fourth position on the ladder, but could easily be in second position, had results fallen their way.
