I THINK that Australia would benefit if we turned the asylum seekers that are trying to enter Australia around. Surely it is just as easy for the Australian Navy to take them back to where they came from. It would be less distance to travel and millions dollars saved. If we take them to Australia we pay for their shelter, food, bedding and clothes. We take them back to their country and we cut out all of those costs and reserve employment and housing for Australian citizens.
