Emergency services were called to the crash scene at 5.15pm and closed the road between the Western Freeway exit heading north from Ballarat and the Olliers and Millers roads intersection heading south.
Ambulance Victoria spokesperson John Mullen said a couple in their 80s in the car were treated at the scene for shock.
He said the truck driver had no injuries.
