Police are appealing for public assistance following a violent road rage incident near Trentham last month in which a gun was produced and pointed at the victim.

Detectives from the Moorabool Crime Investigation Unit say a a light blue EB model Ford Falcon was on the incorrect side of Trentham-Spring Hill Road before it forced the victim's vehicle onto grass beside the road.
The driver of the Ford then got out of his car and produced a firearm from the rear seat.
The victim quickly returned to his vehicle and drove off as the other man pointed the firearm toward him.
Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to.
The man is said to be Caucasian in appearance, 45 to 50-years-old, softly spoken, 172cm tall with a solid build, grey hair and appeared unshaven with grey stubble.
He was wearing a knitted brown jumper, blue jeans and appeared scruffy in appearance.
