The V/Line Training Program, designed to help guide young people, has run since 2007 and uses sport stars to deliver messages to young people about responsible behaviour and making the right decisions in life.
Importantly, the program is not just for sportsmen and women – it’s aimed at all young people.
V/Line chief executive Theo Taifalos said the session would expose participants to a wide range of views.
“Young people in country Victoria often don’t have access to all the information that they would growing up in the city,” he said.
“Our presenters and ambassadors give it to the participants straight and they respect their open and honest approach.”
The two-hour event will be on July 8 at 10am at Ballarat Netball Association’s home at Llanberris Reserve.
Anyone interested in attending should email the netball association at bnapride@nvable.net.au.
