WEATHER

Another cold and wet day for Ballarat day with a top of eight degrees predicted.

After strong winds yesterday, they are expected to drop off today. 

Tomorrow we can expect a top of nine degrees. 

POLICE

No major incidents for Ballarat Police, however they were kept busy with a  few weather related calls for assistance. 

FIRE

A quiet night for fire fighters who didn't have any major call-outs. 

AMBULANCE

Paramedics reported a quiet night. 

However, a 17-year-old female was air lifted to the Alfred Hospital yesterday afternoon after the car she was a passenger in collided with a tree in Newington. 

The incident is believed to have occurred just before midday yesterday.

TRAINS

Anyone thinking of taking the train to Melbourne for the day should allow extra time as coaches are replacing all services.
