BUNINYONG charged home with the final four goals of the match to snatch an unlikely draw in its Central Highlands Football League blockbuster with Waubra on Saturday.

The Bombers trailed by 26 points early in the last quarter, but clawed their way back with goals to coach Jarrod Morgan, Sam James and Adam Scott before Waubra coach Jason Allen was pinged holding the ball inside the Roos' defensive 50m.
Ned Gilbert calmly slotted the major to level the scores before a frantic final few minutes failed to register any more scores.
"It was a good effort to come back. We thought 20 points at three quarter time was gettable. There was a bit of a breeze and we thought we had the run in the legs a little bit and they were starting to shut down a little bit," Morgan said after the game.
"In a way you take two points, but it's frustrating because we gave them a few cheap ones during the day."
Allen was disappointed to only come away with the draw, but looked away from the final quarter fadeout as a key reason in only pocketing two points.
"I reckon we had probably 75-80 per cent of the ball and we had control of the game in that third quarter. We had 17 inside 50s and we should be converting more than that (3.4)," Allen said.
"It'll hurt, but that's just the way it goes."
In a day that was hard to find genuine winners, it was the in-and-under players that shone brightest in difficult conditions. Tom Nash drew praise for his minding job on Morgan, as did the likes of Tim Mullane, Shaun Mullane, Paul Dodds and Jason Delaney, while for the Bombers, Gilbert and Sam Turner did some good things, while Alex Bomitali managed a good tagging performance on reigning Geoff Taylor Medallist Nick Sullivan.
Roos forward Jarryd Allen was the leading goal-kicker on the ground with three majors.
Meanwhile, the major upset of the round took place at Beaufort as the Crows continued Learmonth's woes with a 12-point victory on home soil.
