Lifting from an over night low of -1 degrees, Ballarat will see a partly cloudy day with a top of 10 degrees.

Patchy fog will blanket the city for the morning. 

Light winds becoming east to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the middle of the day then tending north to northeasterly in the early afternoon.


All local emergency services have pointed towards sub-zero temperatures to have kept the city indoors, hence no incidents to report from over night.


THE brother of missing Maryborough boy Terry Floyd believes the police investigating his disappearance have put his case in the “too hard basket”. Details.


Sixteen fire units are currently attending a blaze in Parwan, about 10 kilometres south of Bacchus Marsh. 

The blaze is believed to be at the Rolling Thunder Raceway.
