Family and friends of Shannon Knowles, 24, and Jesse Scholes, 27, have taken to Facebook to voice their grief.
The couple is believed to have been killed by a gas heater they were using to keep warm.
Ms Knowles’ sister Tarrina Mousley said on Facebook the family had been ‘broken’.
“I feel absolutely gutted words can’t explain the loss we are feeling. My family’s broken,” it read.
Another tribute posted by Chloe Farnham read: “I’ve shared some of my funniest teenage moments with you Shan, I cannot believe you’re gone. Such a beautiful soul taken way too soon. Rip.”
Abbey Clery posted: “You were the kind of girl that could light up the room with your smile and sense of humour Shan. Such a beautiful person inside and out.”
Mr Schole’s Facebook friend Ess Hands posted that she wanted to see him buried with “respect and dignity.”
“No words can explain this,” it read. “May they R.I.P together and hope that the government looks closely to fix this homeless thing for our country. We need to rally together for this to happen.”
