The Ballarat driver overcame some early problems to take out honours in the Formula Vee third round held at Sandown International Raceway.
A disastrous first race, which was red flagged due to a number of crashes, saw Quiddington place third before poor positioning led him to a seventh-place finish in race two.
The 17-year-old rebounded to take out the double points final ahead of a host of favourites.
A see sawing contest involving numerous lead changes eventually saw Quiddington pass championship leader Matt Stubbs on the final lap and hold on for victory by 0.3 of a second.
Quiddington, sponsored by American Made Cycles, currently holds the track record for his age group at Phillip Island, which he has broken twice.
His next race will be the final round of the Victorian Championship at Phillip Island on October 3-5.
