'Been spending most their lives, living in the gangsta's paradise' are the sounds that radio stations around the world have played since 1995, becoming one of the world's most successful rap songs of all time.
On Thursday, Ballarat can relive the song that helped make Coolio one of the world's most popular rappers.
Karova Lounge venue co-ordinator Shaun McAdams said his special one-off show in Ballarat as part of Coolio's Australian tour was received with a huge response from fans.
"It's certain to be a sell-out," he said.
"I think people didn't really believe, at first, he was actually coming to Ballarat.
"When we first put up the posters and put it out on social media, people thought it was a cover band.
"When they figured out it was actually Coolio himself, they were amazed."

Selling more than 18 million records globally, the Grammy award-winning artist, composer and actor has become best known for his 1990s hit Gangsta's Paradise.
Mr McAdams said like many acts of his time, they were returning after years out of the recording studios to tour for fans.
"A lot of acts like Coolio are coming to Australia," he said.
"They're playing at places they haven't before.
"Yes, he has had a couple of big songs, but it more of a reminiscence show."
Ballarat is Coolio's first stop on his national tour before heading to capital cities around the nation.
"It's a nostalgic kinda show ... I think this one will definitely be remembered."
