POLICE
Police have described the behaviour of Wednesday's Uni Night as "good as gold" with no reported incidents.
FIRE
Fire crews had a "mildly" busy Wednesday night.
Crews are currently attending a fire at Dunnstown where a tree has fallen on powerlines.
Leading Fire Fighter Jarrod Howlett said strong winds most likely brought the trees down which fell over Old Melbourne Road just after 6.30am.
Crews from Mt Warrenheip and Ballarat are on scene awaiting council workers to remove the tree.
Two crews attended a grass fire at the rear of a property on Edgar Street, Wendouree just after 10pm.
The cause of a smoke alarm in Zora Court, Sebastopol, is being investigated after crews attended a false alarm at 4.50am.
Leading Fire Fighter Howlett said the detector may have reacted to atmospheric conditions or an electrical fault.
AMBULANCE
Paramedics attended no trauma incidents overnight.
