The duo had struck at three locations in Melbourne’s north and west, committing their third armed robbery at a hotel in Sydney Road, Fawkner, early on Friday morning.
But police caught up with them after this third strike, arresting the pair at separate addresses hours later.
The pair, aged 22 and 16, were charged with three counts of armed robbery as well as weapons and property-related offences.
Roxburgh Park man Andy Younan has been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court tomorrow.
The teenage male, also from Roxburgh Park, will appear in a Children’s Court at a later date.
The two had earlier held up establishments in Fawkner on July 26 and Kealba, in Melbourne's north, on July 22.
