BALLARAT kicked 11 goals in a row to run out 60-point winners over Lake Wendouree in the Ballarat Football League at Alfredton Oval on Saturday.

In a dominant display, the Swans proved far too good for the Lakers, winning 14.14 (98) to 5.8 (38).

After a slow start in which the Lakers kicked the first two goals, it was all one way traffic for Ballarat.

Their first goal came right on the quarter time siren off the boot of Lachlan Cassidy and from that point onwards, it was all red and white.

Shane Hutchinson tore the game apart and had countless possessions for Ballarat, while Will McGregor chipped in with three goals.

For the Lakers, Ben Hayes and Claye Kelson were among the standouts.

MEANWHILE, East Point has kept its season alive with a its second thumping win over Melton for the season.

The Kangaroos smashed the Bloods by 90 points, with the final scoreboard reading 20.20 (140) to 7.8 (50).

The result lifts the Roos to seventh spot on the ladder, although they are equal with sixth-placed Bacchus Marsh on wins for the year.

On the other side, Melton can almost kiss finals goodbye, needing to win their last three games to remain any possibility of making the top six.

AND in the third game for the day, Redan smashed a disappointing Sebastopol outfit by 111 points.

Matt Caris had arguably his best game for the season for the maroon and gold, who went on to win 18.25 (133) to 3.4 (22).

Grant Bell kicked five goals, while Caris contributed with four.

Both Redan and Ballarat face the bye next week, before they meet in the battle for second position and double chance in two weeks time.

Sunbury and Melton South clash on Sunday.
