Bombers youngster Billy Jones will front the Goldfields Region Independent Tribunal this week after being reported for bumping or making forceful head high contact on Conroy.
The result has left Conroy with a bruised spine, says Raak, who fears the 20-year-old’s season is almost certainly over, but remains thankful the injury is not worse.
The key position player was taken to hospital following the first-quarter incident, but released on Saturday night.
Raak said he had been in regular contact with the family of his player following the match, which Buninyong won by five points.
“He’s a very lucky boy,” Raak said.
“He had no feeling in his fingers and feet and stuff like that after it happened.
“Footy is not important when it comes to stuff like that.”
