Hail is forecast for Ballarat later today and this evening after a partly cloudy day with a few showers expected.
Be careful on the roads tomorrow morning too, with light early frosts predicted. Rain is tipped for most of the week, with Friday the next time we'll see any sunshine.
FIRE BRIGADE
Ballarat City Fire Brigade was kept busy overnight and this morning, with a house fire, chimney fire and people trapped on a ledge at Clunes.
Fire caused major damage to a house in Addington Road, Creswick at 4.55am, with fire investigators being called in today to determine the cause.
Crews from Ballarat City, Creswick and Clunes attended.
Ballarat City also went to a chimney fire at Smythes Creek at 9.30pm Saturday and were called to two people trapped on a ledge at Clunes near the football oval who managed to get themselves down before the crew arrived.
POLICE
Ballarat Police had few incidents overnight but several drivers are now walking around Victoria due to speed impoundments, including an 18-year-old driver, who had only had his licence for nine days, caught doing 160 kmh in an 80kmh zone on the Hume Highway at Craigieburn and a 20-year-old male doing 150kmh on Eastlink at Dandenong.
