Ron Bedford Snr does not know where he would be today without the help of two good Samaritans.
The 86-year-old collapsed while walking about one month ago. The two schoolgirls came to his aid and took him to hospital.
POLICE
Homicide Squad detectives are appealing for public assistance to help identify a van and its occupants, as they continue their investigation into the February death of Geck Gov in Noble Park.
Cambodian born Geck was murdered in the driveway of her own home in Theodore Avenue on her way to work on Thursday 6 February about 5.45am.
Homicide Squad Detective Senior Sergeant Stuart Bailey said investigators had analysed footage from nearby CCTV cameras which showed a van travelling in the vicinity of the crime scene.
“We have been able to identify that a white van travelled down Knox Street, about 200m from the crime scene, within 10 minutes of the attack,” Detective Senior Sergeant Bailey said.

FIRE
A fire destroyed a shed at Darley just after 12.13am on Monday.
Five fire crews attended a Jonathan Drive property where they found the four metre squared shed fully engulfed in flames.
There were no injuries.
The fire took 30 minutes to contain and the cause has not been determined, pending an investigation on Monday.
AMBULANCE
Paramedics had no trauma incidents to report from overnight.
