The Eagles led at every change and refused to give the Burras a sniff late in the match, running out 19.13 (127) to 13.6 (84) winners at Dunnstown on Sunday afternoon.
That qualifying final result earns Gordon a week off and leaves Hepburn to take on Springbank in a semi final next weekend.
The Tigers won Sunday's elimination final against Learmonth by 15 points, 10.10 (70) to 8.7 (55) at Buninyong.
Meanwhile, a controversial free kick inside the last minute of the match helped Waubra snatch a memorable three-point qualifying final win over Bungaree on Saturday.
Spearhead Tim Boyle was adjudged to have been fouled when a big pack flew for the ball deep inside the Roos' forward line, and he made no mistake with the resulting shot to lead his side to a 11.10 (76) to 11.7 (73) victory.
Making things more frustrating for the Demons was the fact that the free kick was awarded down field by the umpire that was not controlling play at the time.
Boyle was one of the big differences between the two teams, booting four goals to be one of the Roos' best in a game that saw lead changes and momentum shifts throughout the afternoon.
A disappointed Bungaree coach Greg Middleton said he didn't see the infringement, but was frustrated with the call at such an important stage of the match.
"We shouldn't have been in that position to start with, but it is a bit frustrating when a bloke pulls a free kick out of a massive pack with 30 seconds to go in a final," Middleton said.
Middleton's counterpart, Waubra coach Jason Allen said it was hard for him to tell if the free kick to Boyle was warranted.
"It's hard to say when you are down back. There was five or six flying for it, so who knows. (But) you'll take it any day of the week," Allen said.
The win sees Waubra through to the preliminary finals, while minor premiers Bungaree must now prepare for a semi final with Buninyong next weekend.
The Bombers kept their season alive with a hard-fought win over Daylesford in the elimination final at Waubra.
Coach Jarrod Morgan and his men fought back from a quarter time deficit to record a 35-point triumph.
