Ballarat's first Cars n' Coffee catch-up on Sunday proved an unqualified success with 110 cars and more than 200 people showing up at the Sovereign Hill car park.
The first machines arrived at 7am, even though the official start time was 7.30am. And despite being billed as a two-hour car show, the car park did not clear out until closer to 10am.
Among the formal and not-so-formal motoring groups making their presence felt were the Ballarat Road Rodders, the Vintage and Classic Car Club of Ballarat, Ballarat Volkswagen Club, Ballarat Early Commodore Club, and the Early Holden Car Club and along with enthusiasts who are not car club members.
The next Cars n' Coffee is scheduled for October 12 from 7.30am at the Sovereign Hill car park.
