Storm avenged an opening round loss in The Athlete’s Foot Cup to Sturt Diamonds on Tuesday night.
Brown Hill took the points 64-41.
Sturt won their previous meeting by two goals.
Brown Hill hit the court running.
Claire Hughes in the defence circle and wing defence Hollie Frew were instrumental in turning the ball over out of defence.
Brown Hill’s three-way goaling combination of Ruby Parry, Chrissy James and Courtney McLean also shot accurately to reward the defensive work.
Sturt worked hard, but Brown Hill’s quick accurate passing was the difference.
