POLICE are conducting a safety review of an intersection near Bacchus Marsh after a major collision on Tuesday.

Three people, all aged in their 60s, were involved in a two-car collision at the intersection of Bacchus Marsh-Geelong and Exford-Parwan roads at Maddingley.
Emergency services were called to the scene just before 8pm.
Two people were transported in separate air ambulances to Melbourne’s Alfred Hospital.
The male was in a serious but stable condition with leg and shoulder injuries. He remains in a critical condition.
The female was taken in a serious condition with pelvic and leg injuries and remains in a stable condition.
A third patient, travelling south on Bacchus Marsh-Geelong Road in a delivery van, was transported by road to The Alfred Hospital in a serious condition with multiple fractures and abrasions.
Bacchus Marsh Sergeant Trevor Johnstone said police were conducting a safety review of the intersection.
