A gun was recovered from a McDonald's car park in Cranbourne after shots were fired in the south-eastern suburb of Melbourne on Monday morning, police say.

Police were called to a shooting at a home in Tucker Street, Cranbourne, shortly after 11am where a gun was fired during an altercation between two men. There were no injuries.
UPDATE: Two men have been arrested, after a gun was fired during an altercation in Cranbourne. Noone was hurt.

Police spokeswoman Sergeant Sharon Darcy said it is believed all parties left the home and went to the fast food restaurant car park at the corner of Camms Road and the South Gippsland Highway.
Two men were arrested and they are assisting police with enquiries.
Officers recovered a firearm at the scene.
A woman is also assisting with inquiries, but has not been arrested and all parties are known to each other.
