A man who blew more than six times the legal alcohol limit has been nabbed trying to drive his car while it was in neutral.

Police were called to Wyndham Street, Shepparton, after reports that a man was revving his car in the middle of the road, trying to drive it.
The 42-year-old Shepparton man was breath tested at the site, and returned a reading of .28.
Victoria Police spokesman Adam West said the man is expected to be charged with drink driving offences and unlicensed driving.
