On day two of the tournament, the two Victorian teams in the boys’ under-19 division won three out of their four matches.

Victoria City was the standout performer by far, beating two Queensland-based sides by five and 12 goals respectively.

Elsewhere, the under-15 girls’ Victorian squad, which is made up mostly of Ballarat athletes, had a lean day on the court.

After winning its first two matches, it lost 5-0 to Queensland City Maroon and drew 2-2 with Northern NSW on Tuesday.

Ballarat is hosting teams in the under-15, 16 and 19 girls and under-16 and 19 boys’ grades, while Bendigo is playing host to the other junior divisions for the tournament set to finish on Thursday.
