Clunes Booktown for Kids organisers are looking for a teddy bear-maker to be part of their new festival.
The teddy-maker will join others in the Children’s Village of Lost Trades exhibit.
Festival manager Shelia Hollingworth hopes to find a local craftsperson to participate. “We need someone who can demonstrate how to make a bear and can talk to the kids.”
The festival will explore the World Before Vegemite theme. Crafts and trades people will demonstrate their skills for children in the interactive village.
Workshops by award-winning child-
ren’s writers and illustrators, storytelling workshops and an Anzac exhibition will be held at the festival.
The festival is aimed at children aged between 5 and 12.
