A sense of anticipation tracks Japan's biggest assault on the spring carnival since the historic Melbourne Cup quinella of 2006, and trackwork at Werribee on Wednesday provided at least one answer to the poser of what to expect. Whatever the horses do, there'll be no missing Yoshito Yahagi.
