Brothers Peter Dimitrovski, 28, and Robert Dimitrovski, 21, both of Derrimut, along with Bros MC associate John Pearce, 66, of St Albans, were charged with murder on Monday.

The charges relate to the death of a 24-year-old tenant of a house in Rosella Crescent in Melbourne's west on Saturday, October 11, after an alleged fight broke out in the street in the early hours of the morning.

Police found the tenant's body inside the home while a manhunt was launched for four men, including another alleged victim who fled the scene with minor injuries and whom police have since found.

It is understood the older of the Dimitrovski brothers, Peter, owned the home in Rosella Crescent.

Police have not released the name of the deceased - who came to Australia three years ago from southern India - because investigators are still trying to locate his next-of-kin overseas to notify them of the death.

The trio who stand accused of his murder made no application for bail to Magistrate Jonathan Klestadt when they appeared separately in court on Tuesday.

Peter Dimitrovski's lawyer Peter Ward said it was the first "real time" his client had been in custody and that his client was suffering from mental health issues.

"Without exaggerating, he's quite distressed and agitated and I'd like him to be looked at by the psych nurse," Mr Ward said.

Peter Dimitrovski shook his head throughout the short filing hearing and wiped his nose.

The lawyer for Mr Pearce, Charles Nikakis, told the court his client needed medication while in custody for a heart condition.

Peter Dimitrovski and his younger brother, who was wearing a high-visibility shirt, was remanded in custody along with Mr Pearce for a committal mention on February 9.

Closed-circuit television footage and a forensic report will form part of the brief of evidence.
