The sun is shining this morning and Ballarat is headed for a top of 25 degrees on Sunday.
There is a slight chance of rain this afternoon and thunderstorms later into the evening.
POLICE:
A quiet night in Ballarat, according to police.
However, it was a night of mayhem on Victorian roads with three fatal accidents, including two near Geelong.
In the first fatal accident overnight, a man died at Foxhow, near Lismore, after a head-on crash between a car and motorcycle.
Investigators have been told that the motorcyclist was headed north along Foxhow Road around 12.55am.
The rider has crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided with a south bound car.
The rider of the motorcycle, believed to be a man in his 30s, died at the scene.
One of the passengers in the car, believed to be a woman in her 20s, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
The other occupants of the car, all men believed to be in their 20s, were not injured.
Meanwhile, a man his 40s died after losing control of his van on the Princes Highway at Mount Moriac, near Geelong.
Police have been told that a van was headed east along the Princes Highway around 3.15am.
The driver of the van lost control of the vehicle which crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided with a west bound tanker.
The driver of the van, believed to be a man in his 40s, died at the scene.
The driver of the tanker, a man in his 50s, is assisting police with their enquires.
Sadly, there was another fatal accident near Geelong about 15 minutes after the one on the Princes Highway.
Police are still investigating the accident which occurred at Point Wilson about 3.30am.
Police have been told that car travelling towards Geelong, on the Princes Freeway near Point Wilson Road, left the roadway and drove through a wire fence about 3.30am.
The car caught fire with several witnesses being unable to get the driver out of the vehicle.
The driver of the car, who has not been formally identified, died at the scene.
