Two men will front court on Thursday after a shot was allegedly fired inside a Ballarat house.

Police cordoned off the property at the intersection of Grant and Moyle streets about 10am on Wednesday, with more than a dozen police responding to the incident.
On arrival, police located an empty firearms safe, but said the occupants of the house had fled the scene.
It is alleged a firearm had been discharged, however no one was injured.
Two Ballarat men, aged 23 and 20, were questioned and charged late on Wednesday night.
The pair, who were remanded in custody, face multiple charges including conduct endangering life and theft.
An 18-year-old man, who was also arrested, has been charged and remanded in custody on burglary and theft counts not related to the incident on Wednesday morning.
All three will appear in the Ballarat Magistrates Court on Thursday.
