The most glamorous and inventive made their way down the Myer Fashions on the Field stage to compete for the top spot.
Caulfield winner Crystal Kimber continued her fashion success becoming the Myer Lady of the Day at her debut Ballarat Cup.
"Mum and I thought we'd go for a drive so decided to come to the Cup here. I've had lots of friends come before who have all had a great day," Ms Kimber said.
She had made her dress together with her mother, showcasing an orange fruit print and leather.
Stacey McCartin took out the Myer Local Lady of the Day, wearing locally bought clothes to accompany a fascinatior made by her sister Louise McCartin from LSM Millinery.
"My sister usually enters, but couldn't this year - so I thought I'd give it a go," Ms McCartin said.
"Next year I'll leave it to my sister."
Elis Crewes successfully defended her title to win best millinery piece - a black and bronze hair piece designed by Mandy Murphy.
Will Couch from Warranambool won Myer Man of the Day.
"It's my guest time at the Ballarat Cup but I definitely want to come back," he said.
Myer ambassador Lauren Philips said there was an amazing standard that was tough to judge.
"It was great to see so many boys out and giving it a go. They were having fun too - that's what fashions should be about," Ms Philips said.
She attended the cup for the first time last year.
"It's a lot better weather than last year - everyone is just enjoying themselves.
"I might even bring my friends next year to enjoy the day."
Ms Philips said she liked Ms Kimber's outfit straight away.
