He missed out on an All-Australian berth – and therefore a spot in the Australian side that faced Ireland in Saturday night's international rules Test in his hometown – but Matt Priddis has the Brownlow Medal and now a West Coast contract until the end of 2016.

And the Eagles have a double reason to celebrate, with dynamic midfielder Luke Shuey extending his contract to the end of 2018.
Priddis, 29, will now almost certainly see out his playing days with the Eagles, having played 173 games at the club since being drafted as a rookie in 2006.
Somewhat of a shock winner of the Brownlow, Priddis maintained his air of humility after the contract news was announced.
"[It] means I'm going to be a one-club player with the club that gave me an opportunity I was so grateful for," Priddis said on the club's website.
"I was pretty desperate to get on an AFL list and this takes me to 11 years at the footy club, which is something I'm very proud of."
The locking away of Victorian Shuey takes the onballer out of free-agency calculations until he is at least 28, a major coup for the Eagles given the spate of big-name players who have left their clubs under free agency rules in recent seasons.
Shuey, who has played 86 games over six years, challenged his teammates to return the Eagles to the finals for the first time since 2012.
"I think we've had our opportunities over the last three or four years and we've probably underdelivered so I think we owe the footy club some success," Shuey said.
West Coast finished just outside the finals this year with 11 wins and 11 losses but without a victory against a team that made the eight.
"We've got the right squad for it and, as players, I think we all need to go to another level for that to happen," Shuey said.
"It's going to be an exciting summer this year, going into 2015. It's going to be a hard pre-season for sure but we're looking forward to putting in the work and improving."
