Damascus will contest under-17 girls' division one at the Australian Schools Basketball Championships.
The Ballarat college is one of eight teams in the division.
Damascus opens the tournament in a pool game against Siena College on Monday morning.
It will then back up against Canberra Girls' Grammar School on Monday afternoon before rounding out its pool draw against MCC on Tuesday ahead of play-offs.
Damascus coach Ryan Callaghan said the championships provided a huge challenge.
"We're facing a higher age bracket in the top division.
"Having gone through the Ballarat Associated Schools competition undefeated gives me confidence that we can compete with any team they put in front of us.
"These girls don't know the word quit," he said.
