North Ballarat’s Crosbie will suit up for game 200, in Ballarat Cricket Association club firsts action this round.
Already, this season has been an important for Crosbie, capturing his 200th wicket three weeks ago in a Twenty20 match.
“It’ll be nice when my cricket career is over and I look back on games played, runs made, wickets taken,” Crosbie said.
“My biggest highlight is a third XI premiership in 2002-03 against Naps, which had fairly reasonable bowlers then and we had to bat well, so it was a good win and the celebrations afterwards were memorable. The firsts won that year as well,” Crosbie said.
His 200th match will be against Ballarat-Redan at City Oval, starting on Saturday.
Crosbie, 31, made his senior debut at 14 but adopted senior cricket full-time when he was about 17 years old.
He has taken four five-for hauls with the ball, including one last round against Brown Hill and his first only three seasons ago, also against Brown Hill in the A grade.
Crosbie has made one ton with the bat, six seasons ago in the seconds.
